Rocket Routine OS vs. EOS Software

In short: EOS One, Ninety and Strety run rocks, scorecard, issues and meetings by EOS, and their AI creates EOS items after a person confirms. The system that does the work behind the rocks, you build yourself on top. In Rocket Routine OS it is there: you apply EOS in it, and AI agents do the work.

What makes EOS software strong

Three products put EOS into software. EOS One calls itself "The official EOS® software" and comes from EOS Worldwide itself. Strety says it is "Officially licensed by EOS Worldwide" and an independent team. Ninety is independent: "Ninety is not owned by EOS Worldwide", and it claims no licence. All three run rocks, scorecard, issues and a leadership team's meetings.

All three now have AI. EOS One brings Atlas, an "AI Chief of Staff" on every plan that sets up EOS and turns meetings into actions. Ninety's AI is called Maz: it creates and updates rocks, to-dos and issues, and you review each suggestion before anything changes. Strety brings an AI meeting assistant for Teams, Zoom and Meet. Through MCP, all three also reach assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT.

Governance and AI: where it stands today

Per the vendors, the AI in all three writes only after a person confirms. Ninety's Claude connector says it most clearly: every tool asks for approval first, and it cannot delete anything. EOS One writes down rules for agents, such as "User-approved writes only" and "Never hard-delete"; whether the server enforces them is not stated. All three have roles, from owner and admin to observer and implementer, plus SSO.

What still holds: the AI works inside the EOS items, on rocks, to-dos and issues. We found no AI that does the work behind a rock itself, no decision rules for a whole company, and no check of work against a definition of done. EOS One names a SOC 2 Type II report and an EU server. None of the three offers a German interface on the pages we read.

What that costs you in practice

EOS software is priced per user a month: EOS One $10, with the first user free. Ninety $12, $14 or $16 depending on the plan, plus a free plan and 10% off for annual billing. Strety about $13, less from the 31st user; its AI meeting assistant includes 4 hours, then costs $2 an hour. All three offer a 30-day trial without a card. Prices in USD per the vendors, before tax, as of 8 November 2026.

For a team of 20, that comes to about $190 a month on EOS One, $320 on Ninety Thrive and $260 on Strety by our arithmetic, before tax. An EOS Implementer is not included in these prices.

EOS in Rocket Routine OS

You apply EOS in Rocket Routine OS too: the Navigator leads the Weekly with the Level 10 agenda, a rock becomes a quarterly goal with outcomes and metrics, and in the Quarterly you create and check the EOS artifacts. Goals hang on your vision or on an outcome, and every outcome has one metric with a target and warning lines.

In Rocket Routine OS, AI agents do the work behind the rocks, from research and reports to software, and for each one you set what it may do alone. Upload a meeting transcript, and an AI agent pulls out decisions, work items and open questions. A person checks work that needs a check against the definition of done before it counts. Rocket Routine OS is not an EOS Implementer and not a coach.

Why not build it yourself with EOS software and an AI assistant?

An obvious route: EOS software for rocks and scorecard, plus Claude or ChatGPT through MCP. That gives you your EOS items and an assistant that reads and updates them. The system you lead your company with, you build next to it yourself: AI agents that do the work behind the rocks, decision rights, an adoption level for each AI agent, a person's check against a definition of done, and an AI head for every area, an AI agent that leads it. And you run all of it next to your actual job: you adapt it when something changes and fix it when something breaks.

In Rocket Routine OS, that system is there. You set it up in a chat with the Navigator, in about 20 to 30 minutes. Then the meeting rhythm from Daily to Annual and the AI heads for all ten areas are running. An AI agent acts with exactly the rights of the person who asked, and you set the adoption level for each one. It asks before deleting and before changing the company's direction, and nothing leaves the company without your yes. A person checks work that needs a check against the definition of done.

The AI costs money either way: the assistant you connect to your EOS software usually needs a paid subscription. Rocket Routine OS works with your own AI: during set-up you connect your own account as your AI, for example Claude or OpenAI, and from then on your own AI does the work. So the difference lies elsewhere: whether you build and run the system for your company yourself, or whether it is there.
